What is oscillation?

Oscillation occurs when a trader sets his scaling and/or maximum lots too low. C2 does not trade in fractional units. If a trader sets his scaling percentage to anything lower than 100%, he can run the risk of not participating in system trades because we cannot trade in fractional units, plus it causes unnecessary activity in the brokerage account.

For example: Trader has scaling set to 50% and system only trades 1 unit at a time. AutoSync will take on the system's trade of 1 unit because that is the C2 minimum. Then trader's AutoTrading permissions are then applied which technically would be .5 of a unit since his scaling is set to 50%. This "dance" of taking on and removing positions to accommodate too low of settings is what we call oscillation.
