I received a rejection message email. What does this mean?

The rejection message is provided directly by the broker pertaining to the specific trade mentioned in the email. It is not C2 rejecting the order because we are simply sending it to your account.

You will need to contact your broker to find out why they rejected the order. Have the rejection email available when you call your broker and provide the rejection reason and trade details. Broker representative can review and offer suggestions that will help avoid rejection notices like this going forward.

We'd love to help, but since we are not listed as the account owner on record, the brokers will only discuss these type of account issues with you.

Common Rejection Reasons:

  • Insufficient Margin
  • Insufficient Cash
  • Exchange not allowed
  • Advisor account, no trades allowed by client
